Suzanne Wilson Summers has spent her higher education career in highly diverse institutions in Texas, Indiana, and Maryland serving as a faculty member, academic dean, Assistant Vice President for Teaching and Learning, and CAO.
Having begun her own college career as a community college transfer student, she is deeply committed to building resilient and thriving communities by expanding educational access and completion. Suzanne holds a Ph.D. in U.S. and Latin American History from the University of Texas at Austin and served as an American Council on Education Fellow. She writes regularly about organizational change and faculty and staff engagement.
