Jill Robinson Kramer’s professional work focused on improving access to and success in postsecondary education, particularly for those students who are traditionally represented. Her previous positions include Vice President for Operation Strategies at Strada Education Network, Associate Vice President for Planning and Grants at Ivy Tech Community College, Senior Program Officer at Lumina Foundation for Education, and Assistant Director of Special Events at the Hudson Institute. Kramer continues limited work as President and Principal Consultant of JRK Consulting, LLC – a minority-owned, women-owned business conducting strategic planning and fundraising/grant writing for education and nonprofit organizations.

Kramer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Spanish from Hanover College, a Master of Arts in Philanthropic Studies from Indiana University, and a PhD in Education Leadership from Indiana State University.

Kramer most enjoys being a baseball and football mom, serving dinner to 85 of her favorite high school players on Friday nights before games or keeping stats for travel baseball games during the summer; and supporting her daughter through her journey as a college student. She serves as a volunteer for North Shadeland Alliance, Castleton United Methodist Church Meals Ministry, the Indiana Charter School Board, FIRST Robotics Team 1024, and the Lawrence North Parent Faculty Organization. She was also an adjunct faculty member at both Ferris State University and Marian University.

She and her husband Ray have two children and live in Indianapolis with their two dogs.
