David Brightman has been involved in professional book publishing for higher education for two decades. A senior editor at Stylus since 2015, prior to that he served as the lead editor for higher education books at Jossey-Bass from 2001-2014. David earned his BA degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of California, Berkeley with highest honors, and later completed the Professional Certificate in Publishing from the UC Berkeley Extension. A native of Washington, DC, and 30-year resident of San Francisco, he currently resides in Columbus, Ohio.
