Nicole Poff shares insights on institutional assessment and its link to advising to ensure alignment with the institution’s mission. Learn about her innovative card game “Huddle” and how it is used to guide teams through conversations on equity, evidence and effectiveness.
Nicole Poff currently serves as the Director of Academic Services and Assessment at United State University, an online institution committed to serving underserved student populations. In her present role, Nicole offers strategic support across multiple domains, including new program development, curriculum enhancements, assessment, faculty development, and student success initiatives. Her experience in various departments and roles within Higher Education provides her with a comprehensive perspective, enabling her to take a holistic approach to problem-solving that integrates insights from multiple areas and leverages data to prioritize student-centric decision-making.
As an educational consultant, she has navigated a variety of educational landscapes, aiding traditional campuses’ transition into the digital realm, empowering K-12 school districts to create new offerings, co-creating innovative programs with colleges, and supporting universities in re-envisioning processes and expanding student services.
Recently, Nicole has embarked on an exciting new venture with Cloudline Solutions. As the Director of Learning Innovation, she collaborates on a passion project that seeks to revolutionize technology solutions in higher education. Breaking free from conventional Software as a Service (SaaS) limitations, Nicole and the team at Cloudline are charting toward custom-built solutions that promise to reshape the educational technology landscape.
Nicole resides in Kansas with her husband, Donnie, and 2 daughters, Kennedy and Reagan. Nicole is currently pursuing her PhD in Curriculum and Instruction at Kansas State University.
