Fall Course 2026- Gateway Course Design
Dates: November 9 – December 7, 2026
The Teaching and Learning Community meets every 4-6 weeks during the academic year, providing a virtual space where participants can receive support in their teaching practice.
Discussions during the community meetings are facilitated by the Teaching and Learning Fellows and center on topics that are of interest to the participants.
Topics for this year include: alternative approaches to grading/ungrading, feedback, fostering deeper learning and engagement through beautiful questions, mental health and well-being (student and faculty).
Meetings every 4- 6 weeks and an online group space provides the opportunity to engage in faculty from across the country.
The Gardner Institute’s Teaching and Learning Fellows and Staff who are experts in their fields, lead the Community.
